What started as a small garage project in Oak Grove, Kentucky, has grown into a thriving repair and fabrication business. Founded by Erik, a dedicated U.S. Army veteran, Task Force Repair & Fabrication began as a way to help friends and neighbors with vehicle and small engine repairs. Even while serving in the Army, Erik’s passion for mechanical work drove him to assist others whenever he could.
After completing his service, Erik and his family relocated to Beaverton, Ontario, where the business began to expand. While working full-time at Toromont Caterpillar, he took on increasingly complex custom engine swap projects. What started as a side hustle quickly gained momentum, leading Erik to plan for a full-scale shop.
After a decade of balancing full-time work and the growing business, Erik and his family made the bold decision in 2021 to sell their home in Beaverton and move to Gooderham, Ontario—where Task Force Repair & Fabrication officially came to life.
